2021 in Review
I turned 50 last year, so I decided to use the word “GOLDEN” to inspire me in 2021. When I think about Gold I think about jewelry that is lasting, beautiful and strong. So I set 21 goals to make my 50th year lasting, beautiful and strong.
Here is a review of my accomplishments.
Lasting: create lasting memories with the important people in my life
Send Maggie 6 letters - sent 3 letters
Go on 8 adventures with Mia - went on 3 adventures
Date John - done
Connect with cool women - done
Take a Master Class on Art - done
Teach a class at Tri-C - done
Blog on Lunge Leadership 1x per month - posted 6 times in 2021
Beautiful: make 2021 beautiful
Visit museums - went to the Cleveland Museum of Art
Entertain (when COVID-19 allows) - Mia’s grad party, JB’s 50th, Christmas Eve, & IU Tailgate
Travel (when COVID-19 allows) - IU trips, Milwaukee Trip, & FLA
Paint the family room -done (John did most the work)
Draw and or paint - took a drawing class at Bay Arts
Laugh more - listened to podcasts & watch comedies
Read for 21 minutes per day - not every day, but I participated in 2 book clubs this year and read 8 books
Strong: build my mental and physical health
Complete a “Dry Jan.” - done
Set up a home gym - done, got the Mirror
Meditate 7x per week - done, used the Mirror
Run the CLE 1/2 Marathon - skipped this one 😮
Journal 3x per week - done
Work out 6x per week - done, used the Mirror 365 times in 2021!
Work out 4x per week on the Mirror - done
I am proud for what I achieved in 2021 and for all that I tried to achieve. Onward to 2022!
